Dear Friend, As you know, we are experiencing a severe drought which is placing a great strain on our agricultural community. To help address the challenges many are facing, Rep. Jared Huffman and I will be hosting a Drought Mitigation Webinar on Tuesday, May 25 at 3pm PT. During this event, you’ll be able to connect with experts from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). They will present a comprehensive look at the USDA programs that are available to farmers and ranchers to help mitigate the impact of drought. You will need to register for this event by emailing your name to Thompson.Townhall@mail.house.gov. Shortly before the event you will receive an email with instructions on how to join.
